CPA, which stands for Cost Per Action, marketing is one of the easiest ways to increase your Internet income. CPA marketing is not as popular as traditional affiliate marketing but it is certainly worth trying for everyone who is interested in making money online. In many cases, it is much easier to make money as a CPA affiliate than as a traditional affiliate. It is slightly more complicated to become a CPA affiliate than a traditional affiliate. Everyone can sign up as a Clickbank affiliate, while CPA networks will check every applicant before accepting them. Most CPA networks are reasonably easy to join, at least as long as you have some experience as an Internet marketer. But even beginners are accepted by some networks. Generally, it is no problem getting accepted by the US networks even if you live outside the US. You will look more professional if you use your company rather than your own name when you apply to the CPA networks. Most CPA networks have a multitude of different offers you can promote. So for beginners it is easiest to join just a few networks. Otherwise, you may get confused by the sheer amount of offers you can promote. You also have a number of different types of offers. The most common types are email submit, ZIP code submits, short forms, long forms, sales, free trials and downloads. If you are a beginner, the easiest offers to promote are email submits and ZIP code submits. These offers do not pay much per lead but they convert very well. ZIP code submits mean that the users have to enter their full address, not just the ZIP code. Email submits just require a valid email address and sometimes the first name of the user. It is a good idea to cut down the number offers you promote by focusing on just one or two niches. This way you can learn what kind of customers you should target to get maximum return. By knowing the demographics of your market you can drive more targeted traffic to your offers and this gives you higher conversion rates. This is the key to making big money in CPA marketing. Before you start driving traffic to any offer, make sure that you have tracking in place. It is unlikely that all your campaigns will be successful, so it is very important that you know which are losing money. The way to success is simple, do more of what works and change what does not work.
